Peaceful discussion brings fruitful solution
Madam,
Apropos the letter published in ‘Readers’ Forum’ columns in your esteemed daily on July 22 last, we on behalf of Dimapur Footpath Trader Women Welfare Society, ltanagar, would like to express our opinion.
S Bagang, the writer of the letter, has no right to kick on our stomach by inducing the authority to evict us from the place where we had installed small shops to earn hardly a daily bread.
We want Bagang to explain how it turns like ‘a dinosaur hatching its offspring’ when the State Govt has constructed a pay toilet beneath the clock tower for welfare of the public as a part of the cleanliness drive. Where have you been for about 5 years when there was lot of dirty things in and around the clock tower? If the Govt evicts the 31 shopkeepers, where will they go?
We have no personal enmity with Bagang. We welcome him to discuss the matter peacefully but not by this way, publishing article in the newspapers.
Yours,
Biki Yanya, president
Godak Yapi, secretary
Dimapur Footpath Trader Women Welfare Society, Itanagar.
